The Outer Rim - Crafting & Resources Update
By Doc Holliday — July 24, 2026
A big batch of updates is now live, headlined by a brand-new crafting and resources hub on the website.
Website - Crafting & Resources
- New Crafting menu on the website - browse live resources, schematics, and creatures without logging into the game.
- Resource pages show current stats and where each resource is spawning, plus a peak-concentration waypoint you can send to yourself in-game to head straight for the richest deposit.
- Resource Alerts - pick the resources and stats you care about and get an in-game mail the moment a matching resource spawns.
- Schematic Finder - look up which schematics use a given resource, and exactly what each schematic needs.
- Save and manage your own recipes under My Recipes.
- Crafting tools added: loot, slicing, damage, and repair simulators.
- Refreshed look across the whole site.
Bounty Hunter
- Bounty Hunter trainers now accept Master Brawler characters, not just Master Marksman - either path opens the Bounty Hunter profession.
Pets
- All creature pets - combat pets, bio-engineered pets, and tamed creatures - now grow to full maturity in about 11 hours, matching mounts (down from several days). Pets already growing finish faster from wherever they are; nothing resets.
Loot
- The Kunga and Mokk tribes on Dantooine now drop their own blood and hides.
- A rare "Emperor Binks" painting now drops from the Gungan tribes on Naboo and Rori.
Image Design
- Fixed a long-standing salon bug - stat migration sessions no longer trigger a false 30-second "you left the salon" countdown, and stat changes now apply correctly when the designer and target are in the same salon.
Interface
- Toolbar icons now render in a consistent cyan across all states, matching the classic pre-CU look.
- New /groupmessage command - choose which group harvest and loot messages you see: All, Harvest Only, Loot Only, or None. You always see your own actions.

- The Set Direction option now appears on all mission terminals except bounty terminals - previously it only worked on general terminals.

Pets & Droids
- Calling a pet or droid in the open now takes 5 seconds, down from 15.
Housing & Cities
- Corellian-style houses and city structures can now be placed on Taanab.
- Mandalore now supports all three architecture styles - build the city you want.
Crafting
- Fixed custom house schematics you had already learned not appearing in the crafting tool.
Medical
- Buff droid poison and disease resist buffs are now calculated with their own dedicated formula, and resist-only services no longer consume Bivoli Tempari.
Loot & Balance
- Damage-over-time uses on newly looted weapons are now capped at 250. Weapons you already own are unchanged.
- Janta blood power now caps at 600 on the highest-quality drops.

v2026.07.21b
The Outer Rim - Launch-Day Hotfixes
By Doc Holliday — July 21, 2026
A batch of launch-day fixes and tweaks is now live.
Vehicles
- The Mustafar Panning Droid is much faster now - its top speed has roughly doubled and it accelerates harder, making it a far more practical ride.
Character Creation
- Talz and Hutt characters now receive their full set of profession starting items - survey device, crafting tool, starting weapon and the rest - when created, just like every other species.
Housing & Deeds
- House deed schematics found as loot were displaying as a landspeeder when examined. They now correctly show the house they build.
Badges

- Harvest droids can now auto-milk nearby wild creatures on their own, no taming required.
We'll see you in the Outer Rim.
v2026.07.19
The Outer Rim - Force Powers & Jedi Update
By Doc Holliday — July 19, 2026
A major Force rebalance and a batch of Jedi improvements are now live.
Force Powers
- Force attacks now hit for full lightsaber-grade damage, plus an extra 15% across the board - your powers finally land with real weight.
- Force powers cost dramatically less to use - roughly 60% cheaper, so you can chain abilities without draining your pool.
- Force attacks fire about twice as fast as before.
- The crystals and pearls in your equipped lightsaber now empower your Force powers, raising their damage and lowering their cost - tune a better saber and your whole Force arsenal gets stronger.
- Mind Blast now reliably leaves its target dizzy.
- Force Lightning now sets its target ablaze with a lingering burn.
Jedi Loot & Healing
- Jedi skill enhancement attachments now roll the stats they were meant to, instead of random junk.
- Dark Jedi Knights and Masters now drop their loot reliably, instead of frequently coming up empty.
- Force healing cooldown cut from 6 seconds to 3 - keep yourself and your group on their feet through tougher fights.
Crafting
- Refined Crystal Packs can now be stacked into factory crates, making them far easier to store and use as a crafting component.
Droids

The Outer Rim - Dathomir & Mythosaur Loot Update
By Doc Holliday — July 18, 2026
A new batch of creature loot and crafting updates is now live.
Dathomir
- The Singing Mountain Clan now drops loot on par with the Nightsisters. Their witches carry their own clan weapons and armor components, and now have a chance at Jedi skill enhancement attachments - so both Dathomir witch clans are worth hunting.
- Nightsister elites - spell weavers, protectors, and elders - now drop the Nightsister vibro unit, which was previously only available from Axkva Min.
Mythosaurs
- Mythosaurs now drop loot. Expect armor and clothing attachments, crystals, weapons and armor, and a strong chance at Jedi skill enhancement attachments.
- They also carry a rare chance at the schematic for a brand-new vehicle.
Vehicles
- New Desert Skiff landspeeder. Its crafting schematic drops rarely from mythosaurs - learn it and build your own.
Crafting
- Stackable crafting components - creature tissues, vibro units, and the like - once again show their stack size in the item description, so you can see how many uses a stack holds at a glance.
v2026.07.17
The Outer Rim - Mandalore & Taanab Update
By Doc Holliday — July 17, 2026
A massive content update is now live, opening the planet Mandalore and greatly expanding Taanab.
Mandalore
- The planet Mandalore is now open. Book interplanetary travel to Keldabe or any of its cities from any starport.
- Explore a world of Mandalorian warriors, Pyke Syndicate criminals, and the legendary mythosaurs roaming the wilds.

- Starship terminals are online at all seven of Mandalore's ports for space travel.
Taanab
- Taanab has been greatly expanded with new wildlife, including tamable ambrian staga and roaming nerf herds - the nerfs can now be milked, too.
- Norulac raider bands and camps now stalk the high plains for experienced hunters, with new destroy missions available at mission terminals.

- The towns of Pandath and Starhunter Station are fully populated, and Pandath now has a complete set of crafting trainers - armorsmith, weaponsmith, droid engineer, architect, combat medic, and bioengineer.
New Gear & Loot
- The Mythosaur King may drop Windu's Guile, a rare named lightsaber color crystal.
- Boorka and Toborro the Hutts may drop the plans for the Lava Skiff, a new craftable landspeeder.
Player Cities
- Mayors can now found player cities on both Mandalore and Taanab.
Travel & Convenience
- Your starships can now be launched from any starship terminal, not just the one where you last stored them.
- The Mustafarian Panning Droid schematic now drops far more often from sliced containers.
Combat
- Strafe Shot 2's area of effect has been narrowed to a tighter cone.
v2026.07.16

Live Events
- When an event is about to begin, you'll get a galaxy-wide announcement a few minutes ahead - your cue to get ready.
- Once it kicks off, an event transport droid appears in the hangar on Tansarii Station. Speak to it and it'll take you straight to the fight.
The Black Sun Siege of Theed
- Theed is under attack. Rally with other players and hold the line against twelve escalating waves of Black Sun forces.
- Push through to the end and face their commander in a final boss battle.
- Earn event-only rewards for joining the defense, including bounty hunter armor and collectible paintings.

- A live kill feed now posts every PvP deathblow to our community Discord.
Guilds
- Guild leaders can now link their guild's in-game chat to their own guild's Discord server. Messages flow both ways, so guildmates in-game and on Discord share one conversation. Set it up on the website under Guilds.
Vehicles
- Flash speeders can now carry a passenger. Group up, and a groupmate can hop on and ride along with you.
World
- Mos Eisley is back on the Tatooine planet map with its city label, and wild creatures no longer wander into the city streets.
v2026.07.13
The Outer Rim - Armor Customization & Jedi Loot Update
By Doc Holliday — July 13, 2026
A new batch of armor customization, gear and loot is now live.
Armor Customization
- You can now recolor every region of your armor. The Color Change option on an unequipped piece walks you through each color slot, one after another.
- Every color slot now offers the full color spectrum instead of a handful of preset shades - paint your armor however you like.
- Note: run the launcher once to pull the latest game files, or the new colors won't show up.
Armor
- Ithorian and Kashyyykian armor's mid and top tiers now offer full protection, on par with the other armor families.
- All craftable armor is now much sturdier, with condition raised to a standard 30,000-50,000 - your armor lasts far longer before it wears out.
- Mandalorian armor can now be worn by the Mandalorian class.
- These stat changes apply to newly crafted armor - gear you already own keeps its current stats.
Loot
- Force-sensitive enemies like dark Jedi and Nightsisters, along with the galaxy's most powerful creatures, now have a rare chance to drop Jedi skill enhancement attachments.
- Nine kinds are available, covering lightsaber speed and accuracy (one-handed, two-handed and polearm), Force regeneration, and lightsaber crafting. The tougher the enemy, the stronger the attachment.
Launch Celebration
- To celebrate the launch of The Outer Rim, four commemorative posters are now dropping from enemies all across the galaxy - hang them in your home to mark the occasion.
- Any enemy has a chance to drop one. They're a limited-time reward, so collect the full set while you can.
v2026.07.12
The Outer Rim - Smuggler Slicing & Fixes
By Doc Holliday — July 12, 2026
A new smuggler crafting questline is live, along with a batch of balance changes and bug fixes.
Smugglers & Slicing
- New questline - The Spiker's Table: seek out the smuggler Vess Karn in the Mos Eisley plaza to learn a slicer's culinary secrets. No combat required.
- Two new Master Chef foods reward the quest - Ciphercrust and Override Bites. Eat one just before you slice a weapon or armor to stack the outcome in your favor: Ciphercrust favors damage on weapons and effectiveness on armor, while Override Bites favors speed on weapons and encumbrance on armor.
- The better the food is crafted, the stronger the effect - up to a 95% chance of the slice you want. The effect is used up on your next successful slice, and eating one food clears the other.
- Luck now sharpens your slicing - the higher your Luck, the better the minimum result on every weapon and armor slice.
- Luck can now appear on looted clothing attachments, up to +25.
Balance
- Armor's designed weaknesses can no longer be crafted away. R.I.S., for example, stays vulnerable to acid - you can no longer slot in a layer to remove it. Armor you already own keeps its current stats.
- Refined (green) loot no longer rolls top stats on every attribute - it now respects its intended quality tier.
Bug Fixes
- The Jedi trial no longer leaves you permanently stuck if you decline it.
- Packed-up houses can no longer be unpacked or claimed by anyone but the owner, and a failed pack-up no longer leaves a house stuck.
- Player bounty rewards are now reliable - funded credits no longer vanish or pay out twice, and the bounty system no longer locks up under heavy load.
- Fixed a bazaar refund error when you were outbid.
- Fixed world boss events that could spawn more than once.
Performance
- Reduced hitching during login and crafting by moving heavy database work off the main game threads.
v2026.07.11b
The Outer Rim - Racing Leaderboards & Balance
By Doc Holliday — July 11, 2026
A follow-up batch of updates is now live.
Podracing
- Daily track records now appear on a new Racing leaderboard on the website. Records reset every morning at 6:00 AM Eastern and carry over across server restarts.
Armor
- R.I.S. armor now provides 40% stun protection, down from 80%. It still gives full protection against kinetic, energy, electrical, blast, heat, and cold, and remains vulnerable to acid - so it stays a top-tier all-rounder, just no longer a wall against stun.
- Only newly crafted or acquired R.I.S. armor uses the updated value. R.I.S. pieces you already own keep their current stats.
Species
- Fixed custom playable species created before their racial bonuses existed not receiving their species skill. Affected characters are granted it automatically on next login.
v2026.07.11
The Outer Rim - Jedi, Racing & Crafting Update
By Doc Holliday — July 11, 2026
A major content update is now live.
The Jedi Path

- Jedi robe bonuses are now built directly into the Padawan skill box. Your Jedi keeps every bonus no matter what they wear - dress how you like.
- Fixed conversation options sometimes not responding when talking to NPCs outdoors.
Podracing
- Every racetrack now pays out: finish any of the six tracks (Mos Espa, Agrilat Swamp, Keren City, Lok Marathon, Narmle Memorial, Nashal River) and receive a Reclaimed Lift Core and a Reclaimed Torque Drive.
- Break a track's daily record and earn five more of each on top.
Smugglers & Crafting
- Locked Briefcases and Locked Containers now drop as loot across the galaxy. Find a smuggler who can slice them open - the contents are worth the trouble.
- A rare Mustafarian Panning Droid crafting schematic (limited use) can be found inside. Master Artisans can learn it to build a brand new rideable vehicle - but construction takes quality metals plus a Reclaimed Lift Core and Reclaimed Torque Drive. See the racetracks.
Species
- All playable species can now equip anything a human can - weapons, armor, and clothing restrictions lifted across the board.
Travel
- A fast-travel network is now open on Yavin 4 - speak to the travel droid at the Tansarii shuttleport. Routes unlock as you earn the moon's exploration badges.
Movement
- Greatly reduced rubber-banding: movement inside buildings and at high speed is now far smoother.
Fixes
- The in-game network status window now reports your real ping.

By Doc Holliday — July 07, 2026

Bank
- Your bank is now account-wide - open it on any character and all of your account's banked items are pooled together in one place.
- Bank storage now holds up to 1,000 items.
Meatlump King
- A spice dealer aboard Tansarii Station has a contract for you: hunt down the Meatlump King holed up on the station, put him down, and claim his defensive necklace.
Combat
- Big, heavily-armored creatures now weaken as they lose health - their armor breaks down the more you wear them down, so the toughest fights speed up as you close in for the kill.
Missions
- Mission credit rewards are now shared only among group members who are actually nearby, so AFK or parked characters no longer skim a cut.
Bug Fixes
- Meatlump and Ragtag gang members now drop their loot properly.

- Every species can now wear every type of armor.

The Outer Rim - Bounty Hunter & Attachment Update
By Doc Holliday — June 26, 2026
A new batch of Bounty Hunter improvements and a Skill Enhancement Attachment overhaul is now live.
Bounty Hunter
- Your special attacks now work with any ranged weapon, instead of being locked to specific weapon types - use the blaster you actually want.
- Spray Shot now intimidates your target.
- Bounty Seeker Droids are far more reliable at tracking down their target.
- Novice Bounty Hunter can now be learned with Master Marksman OR Master Brawler (alongside Scout: Exploration IV) - take whichever combat path you prefer into the profession.
Cities

- Large (Rank 5) cities now support up to 30 skill trainers.
Skill Enhancement Attachments
- Looted attachments now show their bonus right in the name - for example, "[CA] Rifle Accuracy +18 Attachment" - so you can tell at a glance what you picked up.
- Each attachment now carries a single, focused skill bonus.
- Cleared several non-functional modifiers out of the attachment pool.
- Added Flame Thrower accuracy and speed attachment bonuses.
Loot
- Fixed and adjusted loot drops.

The Outer Rim - Structures, Buffs & Convenience Update
By Doc Holliday — June 26, 2026
A new batch of quality-of-life and convenience features is now live.
Structures & Housing
- Lots are now pooled across your entire account. All of your characters share a single 60-lot allowance, so you can pour everything into one builder or spread structures across your alts - however you like to play.
- Every character on your account is now automatically an owner/admin of any structure placed by your other characters. Enter, manage, pay maintenance on, or redeed each other's buildings freely.
Doctors - Buff Droids
- Doctors can now turn a surgical droid into a personal buff vendor. Load it with enhancement packs and it will dispense stat buffs to players - with a barker to advertise, bonuses for Master Doctors, battle-fatigue scaling, wound healing, and even food and drink buffs.
Entertainers
- A single performer now grants all three mind enhancements (Mind, Focus, and Willpower). One dancer or one musician is now enough for the full set - you no longer need both.
Guilds
- New Guild Control Device - a portable datapad item that lets you manage your guild from anywhere, no guild hall terminal required.
- Guild member lists are now sorted alphabetically.
- You no longer need to be within 32 meters to sponsor a new guild member.
Mission Terminals
- Mission terminals now let you choose both the difficulty of a mission and the direction it sends you - match missions to your level and your destination.
Travel
- The /board range has been raised to 80 meters - board shuttles and transports from much farther away.
- Shuttleports now offer interplanetary travel - hop between planets from any shuttleport, not just the big starports.
- Starport departure waits have been shortened.
Website
- A public Roadmap is now live on the portal - see everything that's shipped and what's planned next.
